The dynamic between a crowd and a performer is like nothing else. That feeling of connection with every single person in the vicinity including the person or people on stage cannot be achieved anywhere but through the performance of live music. A Canadian performer who is especially skilled at this connection is Mr. Dallas Green, or City and Colour. If you’ve been to one of his shows, you know exactly what I’m talking about.
I recently came across a collection of high quality audio and video recordings of his performance at Littlefield in Brooklyn.
