Just back in June, Wintersleep released a new album, however their guitar and keyboard player Jon Samuel has a release of his own planned for the end of August via Hidden Pony. It will reportedly feature some of his band members as well as a guest from Rah Rah, and is expected to have a pop sound. The first single, title and opening track “First Transmission” was just released. Can anyone say Ben Harper? I really hope the rest of the album is this catchy.
