Genre-bending Montreal group The Luyas, upon switching to Paper Bag Records have announced the coming of their new album Animator. It promises to be dark if not interesting, as it was recorded during a spell of grief after the band lost a friend. The opener is an epic nine minutes in length, but you’ll have to wait for October 18th to hear that. Until then, listen to/download the album’s first single, “Fifty Fifty”.
